Solicitors – £45,000 to £70,000 per annum depending on experience – Basingstoke, Hampshire
The Role
Do you have experience managing Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning? Do you have the skills to handle complex cases and support others in the field?
Clarke & Son, a well-established law firm, is seeking a Solicitor and a Senior Solicitor for their Wills & Estate Planning team.
In this role, you will manage a broad spectrum of client work. You'll offer expert advice, draft essential documents, and ensure compliance with tax and legal requirements. Additionally, if joining us as a Senior Solicitor, you'll take on more complex cases, mentor junior team members, and drive departmental growth.
Note: The role is open for full or part time, and can accommodate hybrid working on a 3 day a week in office basis for a someone working full time

Key Responsibilities:
- Probate: Advise clients, obtain grants, administer estates, and address tax implications.
- Wills: Draft Wills and other testamentary documents, register and store them securely.
- Trusts: Establish, manage, and advise on trusts.
- Powers of Attorney & Court of Protection: Register and manage Lasting Powers of Attorney; oversee deputyship matters.
- Team Support (Senior Solicitor): Guide junior team members and handle complex cases.
- Business Development: Network across the South of England and London to strengthen our client base.

The Person
- For Solicitor Role: 4+ years PQE; strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- For Senior Solicitor Role: 8+ years PQE; confident in mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Ability to network and build a personal client base.
- Knowledge of trust work is preferred but not essential.
